Long Farm Village

Long Farm Village is Baton Rouge’s premier pedestrian-scaled community, 237-acres where residents have the ability to live, work, play, shop, dine, and relax — without ever having to leave the neighborhood.

Location, Location, Location

One of the best features of Long Farm Village is its amazing location. Visibly located on Airline Hwy, it is in the epicenter of Baton Rouge activity. Airline boasts a daily traffic count of over 36,000 cars.

Within a 10-Mile Radius:

  • 370,880+ Residents

  • 150,000+ Households

  • I-10, I-12, Airline Hwy, Seigen Lane, Jefferson Hwy, and other highly-traveled corridors

  • Mall of Louisiana, Woman’s Hospital, Seigen Place, and more!

Critical to Long Farm Village’s success is its accessibility. Thanks to the further development of Antioch Road, including the installation of a traffic light at Airline Hwy, Long Farm has thrived. In 2015, Antioch Road was donated to the city of Baton Rouge, further investing in and developing the area.

Retail

Rouses market

Consisting of 56,000 square feet of retail space, Baton Rouge’s regional grocer, Rouses Market, has anchored Long Farm Village since August 2016.

Established in 1960 in Houma, Rouses now has 65 locations in three states: Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Retail Tenants

Starting at 1,200 SF, Long Farm’s beautiful retail suites feature white painted brick, covered walkways, and architectural towers. Over 88,000 SF of total gross leasable area makes up the development.

Something that sets the Long Farm Village tenants apart from other developments is their longevity. Long Farm Village retail tenants have shown stability and success since their openings.

The tenants have remained within the development for several reasons: they’ve enjoyed financial success at Long Farm Village, they have good relationships with the development and brokerage team, and they trust that our team will work diligently and in good faith to solve any problems that arise.
— Russell Mosely, Developer of Long Farm Village

Office Space

Currently home to Mosely Development, Campus Federal Credit Union, and Nations Title, Long Farm Village currently has one four-suite office building, with additional spaces coming soon.

Medical office spaces are also included in future plans.

Residential & Multi-Family

Long Farm Village’s high-end, multi-family property consists of 276 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and boasts a long list of top-tier amenities. For information on apartment floorplans, amenities, or availability, visit the Tapestry website.

Constructed in 2016 by Arlington Properties, the Tapestry Apartments began leasing in 2017. In 2021, the Tapestry Apartment complex sold with high occupancy for $61 million to Passco Companies out of California.

Homes

The first residential filing and house construction began in 2013. Now on their 4th filing, Long Farm Village Homes offer a variety of home styles, sizes, and price points ranging from 2,200-4,200 square feet. Prices for new construction range from $235 to $250 per sqaure foot.

Approximately 140 homes are already built or are currently under construction. Once completed, Long Farm Village will consist of 1,100 attached and detached residential units.

Future Development

Proposed renderings of future commercial development from Airline Hwy

Today, the Momentum team continues their work on future commercial development. Future plans envision restaurant space, assisted living and senior care facilities, townhomes, additional homes, medical and office space, and more.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the Momentum team for more than five years on the Long Farm Village retail development. I’m constantly impressed with the knowledge, brokerage expertise, professionalism and business sense that Charlie and Andy bring to a real estate transaction. They also have good working relationships with numerous local and national tenants. I look forward to working with Momentum to finalize many more transactions in the coming years.
